Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (hereinafter the “Terms”) set out the terms and conditions governing the use of the l’Atelier SEO platform, available at https://atelier.la-refonte.fr (hereinafter the “Platform”).

Any use of the Platform implies the user’s full and unreserved acceptance of these Terms.

3. Purpose

These Terms define the conditions under which l’Atelier SEO makes available to its users:

  • A demo workspace for prospects, allowing them to explore the features of the Platform;
  • A client workspace for clients who have subscribed to one of the service plans described in article 5.

4. Access to the Platform

Access to the Platform is granted through a personal URL provided to the user by the l’Atelier SEO team, together with a login (email address) and a password.

The user undertakes to:

  • Keep their credentials confidential;
  • Not share their access with any unauthorised third party;
  • Inform l’Atelier SEO without delay of any fraudulent or unauthorised use of their account, at contact@la-refonte.fr.

l’Atelier SEO may not be held liable for the consequences of fraudulent use attributable to a lack of vigilance on the user’s part.

5. Description of the services

The Platform provides an integrated set of SEO tools and services, including in particular:

  • Technical SEO audit (over 90 automated checks);
  • “Iris” AI assistant, connected to the user’s data (Google Search Console, Google Analytics, audit, action plans, change history);
  • Competitive analysis;
  • SEO action plans, generated and tracked over time;
  • Performance monitoring based on the user’s Search Console and Analytics data.

The Platform is offered under two service plans:

5.1 Guidance plan

The client carries out the recommended SEO actions themselves, with continuous human support from the l’Atelier SEO team:

  • Briefing and debriefing sessions (video call) at the beginning and end of each month;
  • Ongoing support by email and instant messaging (WhatsApp, Slack) throughout the engagement.

5.2 Implementation plan

The l’Atelier SEO team takes full responsibility for carrying out the SEO actions, with complete visibility for the client on the work done through their personal workspace.

The precise terms (duration, scope, price) of each plan are set out in a specific quotation or contract entered into between l’Atelier SEO and the client.

6. Financial terms

Access to a demo workspace is free of charge and involves no commitment.

Access to a client workspace is subject to subscription to one of the plans referred to in article 5, whose financial terms are set out in a prior quotation. Payment is made by bank transfer, upon receipt of the invoice issued by l’Atelier SEO. No online payment is offered on the Platform.

7. User obligations

The user undertakes to use the Platform in compliance with applicable laws and regulations, as well as with these Terms.

In particular, the user shall refrain from:

  • Using the Platform for unlawful or fraudulent purposes, or purposes contrary to public policy;
  • Attempting to harm the integrity, security or proper operation of the Platform (reverse engineering, mass extraction, injection, access circumvention, etc.);
  • Copying, reproducing, reselling or exploiting all or part of the Platform for commercial purposes without prior written authorisation;
  • Using the Platform to analyse websites they do not own or for which they do not hold explicit authorisation;
  • Using the Iris AI assistant for purposes contrary to these Terms or to the terms of use of third-party model providers.

In the event of a breach, l’Atelier SEO reserves the right to suspend or terminate access to the Platform without notice or compensation.

8. “Iris” AI assistant

The Iris AI assistant is a decision-support tool based on third-party language models (Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, DeepSeek). Accordingly:

  • The answers provided by Iris are indicative and cannot replace the user’s professional judgement or the human advice provided by the l’Atelier SEO team;
  • The user remains solely responsible for the decisions they make and the actions they take on the basis of Iris’s recommendations;
  • l’Atelier SEO does not warrant the accuracy, completeness or suitability of Iris’s answers for any particular case.

How Iris works, and how the data sent to model providers is processed, is described in the Privacy policy.

9. Connecting Google accounts (Search Console and Analytics)

The user may, at their discretion, connect their Google Search Console and Google Analytics accounts to the Platform in order to enrich the available analyses and features.

This connection:

  • Relies on Google’s OAuth 2.0 protocol;
  • Is limited to the following read-only scopes: https://www.googleapis.com/auth/webmasters.readonly (Search Console) and https://www.googleapis.com/auth/analytics.readonly (Analytics);
  • May be revoked at any time by the user, entirely on their own: directly from the Platform, freely accessible, via the “Revoke Google access” button in their workspace settings (revocation is then passed on to Google immediately); directly from their Google account (https://myaccount.google.com/permissions); or on simple request sent to contact@la-refonte.fr.

No change is made to the user’s Google accounts: the Platform operates in read-only mode.

In the event of revocation, the OAuth tokens and all Google data previously retrieved are deleted from our servers within a maximum of 30 days, under the conditions set out in the Privacy policy.

The processing of Google data is described in detail in the Privacy policy and on the “Google API Services User Data Policy Disclosure” page.

10. Intellectual property

All the elements making up the Platform (interface, code, trademarks, logos, texts, illustrations, audit methodologies, algorithms, prompts, Iris knowledge base, etc.) are the exclusive property of SEGUROV LIMITED LLC or its licensors, and are protected by French and international intellectual property law.

Any reproduction, representation, adaptation, modification or exploitation, in whole or in part, without prior written authorisation is strictly prohibited and constitutes an infringement subject to criminal penalties.

The user retains ownership of the data they transmit, or cause to be transmitted, to the Platform (their website data, GSC/GA data). They grant l’Atelier SEO a non-exclusive licence to use this data solely for the purposes described in the Privacy policy and for the period strictly necessary to provide the service.

11. Protection of personal data

The processing of personal data carried out in connection with the use of the Platform is described in the Privacy policy, which forms an integral part of these Terms.

12. Service availability

l’Atelier SEO uses reasonable means to ensure permanent access to the Platform, without however being able to guarantee continuous and uninterrupted availability.

Access to the Platform may be temporarily interrupted for maintenance, updates or in the event of force majeure, without l’Atelier SEO being held liable for any resulting consequences for the user.

13. Liability

l’Atelier SEO undertakes to use the means necessary to properly perform its obligations. It is expressly agreed that the obligation borne by l’Atelier SEO is an obligation of means (best efforts) and not an obligation of result.

l’Atelier SEO may not be held liable for:

  • The user’s use of the recommendations, action plans or answers provided by the Platform (including by Iris);
  • The SEO results obtained or not obtained by the user, as these depend on many external factors (search engine algorithms, competition, quality of execution, etc.);
  • Indirect damages such as loss of revenue, loss of business, loss of data or damage to reputation;
  • Temporary service interruptions for maintenance or force majeure;
  • Malfunctions or unavailability of connected third-party services (Google Search Console, Google Analytics, AI model providers).

In any event, should l’Atelier SEO’s liability be established, it would be limited to the amount excluding tax paid by the user over the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to liability.

14. Termination

Demo workspace: the prospect may request deletion of their demo workspace at any time by simple request sent to contact@la-refonte.fr or through any other channel (WhatsApp, Slack, etc.).

Client workspace: termination takes place in accordance with the provisions of the specific quotation or contract entered into between l’Atelier SEO and the client.

In all cases, deletion of the account produces the effects described in article 11 of the Privacy policy.

15. Changes to the Terms

These Terms may be amended at any time. The version in force is the one published at https://atelier.la-refonte.fr/conditions-generales-d-utilisation/. In the event of a substantial change, users will be informed by email or by notification within the Platform.

16. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by French law.

In the event of a dispute, and failing prior amicable resolution, jurisdiction is expressly granted to the French courts, notwithstanding multiple defendants or third-party proceedings.

In accordance with article L. 612-1 of the French Consumer Code, consumers may refer the matter to a consumer ombudsman with a view to the amicable resolution of a dispute. The list of registered ombudsmen is available at https://www.economie.gouv.fr/mediation-conso.

17. Language

This English text is a translation provided for convenience. The French version prevails: in the event of any discrepancy or difference of interpretation between the two, the French version available at https://atelier.la-refonte.fr/conditions-generales-d-utilisation/ is the one that governs.
